Enjoy art with a glass of wine at Hong Kong to Paris. More than just an exhibition, it’s a dialogue across generations and styles, connecting two remarkable French photographers: Raymond Cauchetier and Rémi de Laquintane. Though separated by time, they are united by their passion for visual storytelling that transcends geographical boundaries.

Cauchetier’s work, beginning in the 1950s, captures the essence of post-war Asia and the dynamism of French New Wave cinema. His rediscovered photographs of 1950s Hong Kong offer a poignant glimpse into a city at a crossroads between East and West.

Laquintane, in contrast, presents a contemporary perspective. His 2024 solo train journey from Hong Kong to Paris is documented through introspective and poetic images, transforming fleeting landscapes into meditations on solitude and beauty.

Together, their works invite you on a journey—not only across continents but also through emotions, memories, and time. Hong Kong to Paris is a celebration of two artistic spirits connected by a shared love of exploration and photography.
