A bigger plot (4 ha) found in the north of the appellation is located on the plateau of the Terres Blanches (White lands). This clay limestone soil is covered with a thick layer of rolled peebles which are heated by the sun during the day, benefiting the grapes during night time. The great majority of the grapes are Grenache (68%), Mourvèdre (11%) and Syrah (7%) but also Clairette Rose, Counoise, Terret Noir, Vaccar̬se and Roussane.
