The Moutardier family has been established in Le Breuil since 1750. By Planting several acres of Meunier (indigenous to the region in the valley du Surmelin), Oscar Moutardier became a pioneer and rapidly supplied the best Champagne Houses of Epernay at the end of 19th Century.
Since then, the descendants have kept building the reputation of the Moutardier estate which offer the merits of a rare Meunier dominated Champagne.
