The 16.8\u202fha vineyard surrounds the 17th-century ch\u00e2teau on compact slopes divided into five to six parcels across two terroirs:\u00a0terres blanches<\/em>\u00a0(clay-limestone) for structured, mineral wines, and\u00a0caillottes<\/em>\u00a0(stony limestone) for crisp, fruity styles. Yields average 55\u202fhl\/ha, lower than typical Sancerre.
