Domaine du Trapadis, located in Rasteau in the southern Rhône, is a 35-hectare family estate led by Helen Durand since 1996. The vineyard features old vines—many over 60 years—rooted in clay-limestone and gravel soils at 200–260 meters altitude. The estate has practiced organic farming since 2010 and received certification in 2012. Key varieties include Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Carignan. Helen focuses on minimal intervention: native yeasts, little to no added sulfites, and no fining or filtration. The range includes both powerful, structured reds typical of Rasteau and fresh, vibrant whites and rosés. Domaine du Trapadis is known for terroir-driven, authentic wines that balance intensity with finesse.
