Mas des Caprices, set on the windswept plateau of Leucate near the Spanish border, was founded by Mireille and Pierre Mann, both from winemaking families in Alsace. Bringing their deep-rooted expertise to Languedoc, they established the domaine with a commitment to biodynamic farming, seeking a balance of freshness and ripeness in their wines. The Mediterranean climate and unique terroir, influenced by sea breezes, help produce vibrant, expressive wines. Since their arrival, Mireille and Pierre have focused on crafting authentic, terroir-driven cuvées that reflect both their Alsatian heritage and the character of southern France, resulting in wines marked by purity, minerality, and a distinctive sense of place.
