Domaine de l’Alliance is a small, artisanal estate in Bordeaux (Sauternais), run by Daniel Alibrand and his family. A former fisherman turned vigneron, Daniel has farmed roughly 7–10 ha of vines since the early 2000s, focusing on low yields and precise, sustainable viticulture. The vineyards lie on gravel and clay-limestone slopes over a calcareous base, giving both ripeness and tension. Predominantly planted to Semillon with Sauvignon and a touch of Muscadelle, the parcels benefit from morning mists and afternoon sun, ideal for botrytis in sweet wines and balance in drier styles. In the cellar, gentle pressing and restrained oak highlight purity, finesse, and terroir.
