Domaine Canet Valette, established in 1992 in the Saint-Chinian appellation of Languedoc, has evolved from quantity-focused cooperative roots to a leading organic estate, certified since 2002 across 20 hectares. Originally led by Marc Valette, the focus shifted under his son Camille—who brings both winemaking and philosophy expertise—to crafting complex, structured wines from noble varieties like Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre, alongside old-vine Carignan and Cinsault. The estate benefits from diverse terroirs: northern, sandier schist soils yield supple, spicy wines, while southern limestone slopes give structure and tension. Notable cuvées include Antonyme (easy-drinking, from richer alluvial soils), Mille et Une Nuits (balanced), and Maghani (premium, tannic). Domaine Canet Valette is known for expressive, terroir-driven wines that reflect the French “Tuscany” landscape.
