Domaine Bonnet-Huteau is a premier, family-run wine estate situated in La Chapelle-Heulin, right in the core of the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation in the western Loire Valley.
The Bonnet family has been farming vines on this historic land for over 150 years. Built upon the grounds of a medieval house that originally anchored the local commune, the modern estate is run by four generations of winegrowers, currently led by Jean-Jacques Bonnet, his son Rémi, and winemaker Vincent Pineau. They are widely respected for taking Muscadet—traditionally seen as a simple, cheap oyster wine—and elevating it into a highly complex, “gastronomic” white wine driven by terroir.
