Château Guillot-Clauzel is a hidden gem of the Pomerol plateau, currently experiencing a renaissance under the expert guidance of renowned winemaker Guillaume Thienpont. Situated on the southern slopes of the famous “buttonhole” of clay, the estate’s terroir is characterized by its exceptional gravel-over-clay soils, mirroring the geology of its prestigious neighbor, Le Pin and 20 years old vines. This is the second wine of the Château Guillot-Clauzel in Pomerol: only 1200 bottles are produced.
