Domaine des Pentelines is a 26 ha organic estate in the southern Côtes-du-Rhône, owned by sailor and winegrower Stéphane Kandler and his family. Perched on gently sloping hillsides and exposed to the mistral, the domaine lies just outside Avignon, not far from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The vineyards form one contiguous block, planted mainly with Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignan, alongside Cinsaut and several white Rhône varieties. Many vines are several decades old, rooted in limestone-clay and stony soils that give freshness, fine tannins and Mediterranean garrigue notes. Certified organic (AB), Pentelines focuses on careful manual work and clean, precise, terroir-driven Côtes-du-Rhône wines.
