An exceptional, yet demanding vintage..
The 2026 vintage is defined by extremes: relentless heat and drought pushed both vines and team to their limits, and nature has made it clear this is the new normal we must adapt to.
Yet another exceptional vintage follows the last, proving the enduring value of our old vines, which weathered the season with remarkable resilience.
Harvest brought grapes laden with sugar, and today our little natural yeasts are hard at work in the juices, slowly transforming this generous gift. Fermentations are long, but we’re beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
As with every solar vintage, we kept a close watch over our extractions during maceration. Despite fairly high alcohol levels, drinkability is once again on point.
Our Beaujolais Nouveau French Kiss Kanon 2026 is no exception: depth that mirrors the vintage, paired with the finesse and vibrant freshness you’ve come to expect from us each year.
