Domaine Camille Braun at a Glance

Our partners in this tradition are the Braun family of Domaine Camille Braun, based in Orschwihr in southern Alsace. Family-run since 1960 and certified organic, the estate is now led by Chantal and Christophe Braun with their children, who all uphold a vineyard-first philosophy.

Their wines beautifully showcase Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Blanc shaped by the sunlit Bollenberg slopes the refined Grand Cru Pfingstberg, and the cooling influence of the Vosges.

Founded: 1960 by Camille and Marguerite; now in its third generation.
Farming: Certified organic since the early 2000s, with many plots farmed biodynamically.
Terroir: Key sites include Bollenberg (limestone, wild herbs) and the Grand Cru Pfingstberg (sandstone-limestone, floral finesse), with vineyards reaching 300–400 meters in elevation to boost freshness.
Grapes: Primarily white varietals (~80–90%).
Cellar: Gentle pressing, long aging on lees, and minimal sulfur to ensure clarity and expression.
