On the 21st of January, about 20 people joined the Corsican wine tasting at the Wine Guild.
Animated by Vincent Cervoni from the Corsican wine Board Asia, it was a comprehensive and fun introduction of the wines produced in this less known part of France.
The vineyards of Corsica include 9 appellations, and the wines produced there have a strong personality. They are influenced by the sea and the mountains, many of them are product organically.
The tasting was a great success: people were captivated and we could learn a lot about the the different micro climates, soils and grape varieties, which many are indigenous from Corsica, therefore very seldom found elsewhere.
The wines tasted included One Rosé, 3 whites, 5 Reds and on Sweet (Muscat),
